Volunteer Picnic - Summer, 2010 A picnic is held annually after the summer season for our volunteers who work the full season at the center.
Coleman Fish Hatchery Salmon Festival - October 16, 2010 Shasta Wildlife maintains a booth at the Coleman Fish Hatchery Salmon Festival every year. Our Ed Animals are on display and volunteers are available to answer your questions. The Salmon Festival is held every year on the 3rd Saturday in October. Ed Animals Presentations, Castle Crags State Park Location: Castle Crags State Park visitors center These programs are put on by the SWRR Ed Animal team and the Castle Crags Interpretive Association. MONTHLY MEETINGS
|
|
|
|
Board Meeting Board meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the KIXE-TV meeting room, 630 N. Market St., Redding, at 6:00 pm.
Animal Care Committee (ACC) Meeting ACC meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month (except, no meeting in December) at the Anderson Fire Department, 1925 Howard St., Anderson, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Please note that the Fire Department has imposed a new policy that no animals of any kind will be allowed inside their facility.
Various topics of importance to all volunteers are discussed. There are also training sessions and other presentations by experts in various wildlife specialties. All volunteers should attend.
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 8, 2010 at 6:00 pm.
