Shasta Wildlife Rescue was the host business on October 26, 2010 for the Anderson Chamber of Commerce
Greeters. The chamber Greeters meets once a week at a business, to socialize and learn about each other and
the host business. A nice crowd of about 50 Chamber members gathered at the center early Wednesday
morning sipping coffee and nibbling on snacks while learning what we do, and taking a quick tour of our facility.
Executive director Irish Robertson gave a short talk about SWRR, board member Janet Story explained about
volunteer opportunities, and Marianne gave a brief history of the organization. Several SWRR board members
were also there including Patty Blasquez, Don Neptune, and Paula Jones. This was a wonderful opportunity for
us to share with the business owners of Anderson about our work with the wild life of our beautiful North State.

I am proud to tell you all that our Dine & Donate fund raising
event at Mary's Pizza Shack went very well. Our totals were
$790.65 in revenue X 20% = $158.13 for SWRR.
