Run For the Wild
This event is held the first Saturday in April every year. The Run goes through beautiful Anderson River Park, right
along the Sacramento River.

At 8:30 am there is a 2-Mile Rabbit Run/Walk and also a 5-mile Run. This year the 5 mile Run is a single lap around
the park. Then at 10:00 am there is a Hatchling Quarter Mile Run (for preschoolers through 5th grade).

Open House Tour and Baby Shower
Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Location: SWRR Center
Every year before the babies start to come to the center, we are open on this day only, to the general public. Tours of
the facility are given and you can get up close and personal with the Ed Animals during this time.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a Baby Shower gift of paper towels, toilet paper, heating pads, food, etc. to help
defray the cost of running the center during the year. For suggestions on "Baby Shower" gifts, download this list:
