Shasta Wildlife Rescue is a drug rehabilitation center that helps those with addiction to drugs and alcohol. It was established in 1991 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and has helped over 15,000 people get their lives back on track. They provide counseling services for adults and adolescents, detoxification services, residential treatment programs, day programming for adults and adolescents (including an intensive outpatient program), group therapy sessions, family education workshops for parents of substance-abusing children or spouses of addicts, lectures/seminars related to the prevention of mental health problems associated with substance abuse; employment assistance seminars; parenting classes; psychiatric consultations; vocational training opportunities.
